DAZN Bet has entered the Canadian market by launching its sportsbook operations in Ontario and Alberta. The company is utilizing the technology platform provided by Altenar to facilitate this expansion.
The launch aligns with the opening of Alberta’s regulated online gambling sector on July 13. DAZN Bet is deploying Altenar’s sportsbook solution to meet local regulatory requirements while scaling its international footprint.
Partnership and Market Strategy
Richard Rawlinson, managing director of DAZN Bet for Canada, stated that the launch represents a key step in the company's growth strategy. He noted that having a reliable technology partner is essential for delivering the expected service quality in regulated environments.
Manos Mytilinaios, regional manager at Altenar, confirmed that the expansion reflects confidence in their technology’s flexibility. He added that the dual-market launch supports DAZN Bet’s ambitions to establish a presence in high-potential jurisdictions.
The current expansion follows the brand’s entry into the Austrian market during the previous year.
